Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am Dave Kerber, and I would like to represent the people of District 26 in the Colorado State Senate.

There are those who say that Colorado's best days have past and that we are living in an era of limits. I do not believe that. I believe that the citizens of Colorado have a strong desire to provide a good life for their children and grandchildren. We want Colorado to be a place where people who work hard can succeed and get ahead. Many of us moved here because of the great quality of life and the entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in Colorado. We want to pass that life and that spirit on to our children and grandchildren. We won't accept a Colorado of limits but instead will insist on an era where hard work and determination still matter and our children and grandchildren can achieve anything they set their minds to.

Those who govern us have failed the people by imposing regulatory burdens on companies, local governments, school districts and the people. Today it is not about having a good life but survival. Folks want to prosper in a volatile, uncertain, complex environment, and they want their government to help, not hurt their efforts. We need to start fresh with new leaders who have practical experience and truly understand the challenges people face today
